I'm not convinced it would be anywhere near capacity. I think people are still concerned, and some are also just apathetic about VT football at this point.

I'm neither defending or denouncing the town's decision...I'm just not convinced restrictions are the only thing that could affect football attendance this fall. Fans appear to be getting more and more disillusioned with the school/athletic department, and I think more than a few are going to stay home to prove a point. Couple that with lingering concerns about COVID, and I just don't see Lane being packed this fall, regardless of what is allowed. But, I am frequently wrong, so who knows.
